Wormsloe Historic Site Wedding | Savannah Wedding Photographer

This wedding at Wormsloe was just so special to me. The moment I met these two beautiful souls, I felt an instant connection. I had the pleasure of meeting them, and photographing their engagement session in gorgeous Forsyth Park in August. They were visiting Savannah, where they will be coming back down to become husband and wife, just a few months later! We shared some lovely conversation and many laughs, and by the end, we were friends. Like I didn’t want them to go, friends. Now joining them on this journey as a friend, rather than just a hired vendor, makes it so very special for me, and I can’t even explain how happy they’ve made me.

If ever there were two people made for each other, it would be Rikki and Tyler. When it came time to think about marriage, I doubt they had ever been more sure of anything in their life. They are both so absolutely wonderful, and just perfection together. Tyler is unlike any other man I have ever photographed, and Rikki is one of the sweetest girls I have ever met. These photos, and the relationship between the three of us, is so important to them. They were so thoughtful and considerate towards me, taking the time to check on me several times through the day and night. They told me how much me being there meant to them, and how they couldn’t have done it without me. They made sure I had what I needed, and even arranged for me to have a place at the table, right next to the father of the bride! These two GENUINELY care about every single person. You can’t fake this stuff. Not only will they make the best spouses for each other, I can only imagine the kind of parents they will be one day. That will be one lucky little baby.

It was such a perfect day among the oaks at Wormsloe. They arrived on two Kelly Tours vans, one with the family and Rikki, the other with Tyler and his best man, John. They had a first look that was amazing, and a sweet little ceremony under a beautiful wooden arch and crystal chandelier from “In Any Event”. Afterwards we took lots of family photos on the pathway through the oaks, then headed up to Cha Bella downtown. There they enjoyed cocktails, a lovely dinner, dancing, emotional toasts from Richard, Jessica, and John, special sparklers shaped like an “F”, and cupcake perfection from Gigi’s.

Rikki and Tyler. Thank you a million times for choosing me. I could not have been any happier than I was on that Saturday evening. To the family and friends reading this, again, thank you for being so wonderful. I felt the love. You made me feel so special, and I enjoyed all of you immensely!

Wishing you all the love your hearts can hold, and a lifetime of health, happiness, and laughter. You will always hold a special place in my heart!

Big hugs,

Amber

First look!!!

I don’t think he has laid his eyes on anything more beautiful. He kept telling her how stunning she was!

I think this is my favorite! I love happy, laughing, ear-to-ear smile photos, but this is just so romantic!!

Beautiful archway and flowers from Cheree of “In Any Event” in Savannah.

I love this laugh of Tyler’s! That is one happy man, who just married his best friend of over 10 years!

She is breathtaking!

I love this crazy family!!

Sorry girls, I loved this one too much to leave it out of the blog!

First dance as husband and wife!

Rikki’s dance with her sweet dad Richard, and Tyler with his mama Michelle.

This dance in particular gets me every time. I have 3 little boys and it gets me emotional thinking this will be me one day. What a sweet moment between them.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Foreman!
